Jan Taminiau launches first Ready-To-Wear Collection
Dutch couture designer Jan Taminiau is launching his very first ready-to-wear collection.
Titled ‘Taminiau’, the new collection is a reinterpretation of his haute couture creations and will consist of forty items such as loose-fitting jackets, trousers, and tops with a strong focus on traditional details, such as hand-embroidery.
Striking pieces from the collection are jackets with wide lapels, gilets and wrap dresses, made of tweed, silk, and taffeta while all of the items are made from sustainable fabrics such as bamboo, silk, twill, and tweed.
According to Taminiau, the ready-to-wear collection has been reinterpreted to meet the needs of the modern woman who is often traveling to different destinations with the aim being timelessness.
Priced between 300 and 1800 euros the collection will be on sale at jantaminiau.com from March 7.
