Balmain Beauty unveils debut prestige fragrance Destin de Balmain
Parisian luxury fashion House Balmain has released its first prestige fragrance, Destin de Balmain.
Intended for a broader, globally scaled market, the fragrance (which is its third major release phase and the 10th fragrance overall) marks a key milestone for its Beauty Division Balmain Beauty which was established in 2022 under a license agreement between Balmain and Global Beauty Conglomerate The Estee Lauder Companies Inc.
Inspired by the Parisian House’s savoir-faire and modern pulse, the feminine fragrance was created by world-renowned French perfumer Quentin Bisch, who previously worked on fragrances within Balmain Beauty’s Les Eternels collection, including Rouge and Carbone. Bold, floral and fruity, it is a eau de parfum that captures the unstoppable energy of the Balmain woman: independent, youthful, and unapologetic.
The fragrance opens with notes of Natural Strawberry, Peony Accord, and Pink Pepper (Baies Rose). A ‘flash of neon-saturated, ripe strawberry’ provides a joyful, optimistic spark. Middle notes White Lily adds a delicate green floralcy that deepens the scent, while Akigalawood-a sustainable ingredient derived from upcycled patchouli oil provides an intense spicy edge. Lastly, closing out the fragrance with an unforgettable, sensual warmth is creamy Sandalwood Accord, Patchouli, Musk, and Ambrexolide (a second-skin alternative to traditional musk).
The bottle for Destin de Balmain marks a distinct departure from the architectural flacons of the Les Eternels collection. It features the iconic balmain labyrinth, carved into the glass as three-dimensional pathways, the ‘PB’ monogram (referencing founder Pierre Balmain) runs across every face of the cube, and is capped with signature golden striations.
A visual representation of Balmain’s heritage and modern direction, it encapsulates the undeniable spirit of the scent – Clear, gold, and full of spark. The bottle is fully refillable allowing customers to retain the precious bottle while reflecting the brand’s commitment to suatainability thoughtful craftsmanship.

Notes of peony further convey the feeling of rosy fullness, and notes of creamy sandalwood anchor the fragrance in strength and luminosity. Since its establishment, Balmain Beauty has released Les Eternels de Balmain (its inaugural “luxury fragrance experience,” consisting of eight all-gender eaux de parfum in September 2024) and Blanc Galaxy (the ninth fragrance added to Les Eternels de Balmain launched in March 2025). It is proudly Butterfly Mark certified, building on the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
